This year 263 stores throughout Finland are participating in the Tuuletus campaign to recycle old bedclothes. Throughout the month of February you can bring your unused or clean used duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets and pillows to collection points in Finlayson stores and the following Finlayson retailers in Finland: Prisma, K-Citymarket, Anttila, Euromarket, Sokos, Kodin Ykkönen, Carlson, Kärkkäinen, Halpa-Halli, Minimani, Tex and Veljekset Keskinen.
Following the Tuuletus campaign the Salvation Army will deliver all the bedclothes that have been collected to those in need.
"Working together with Finlayson has been very satisfying. In last year's collection we received a large quantity of bedclothes that we passed on to hostels for people trying to get off alcohol, for example, as well as hand to hand to those most in need. By participating in this campaign you can make a real difference and gain the satisfaction of a good conscience," says Gun-Viv Glad-Jungner, Assistant Social Secretary with the Salvation Army.
Exchange for fresh new bedclothes!
High-quality bedclothes ensure a healthy night's sleep. By exchanging for a new pillow and cover you are investing in your own health. Choosing the right bedclothes for you and looking after them the right way has a big effect on the quality of sleep. Pillows should be changed around every two years and covers every four years. Throughout the Tuuletus campaign Finlayson stores and retailers are offering discounts on Familon pillows and covers, as well as on Finlayson's Aalto and Lei duvet cover sets. The campaign offers vary according to each store.
